When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, schools were forced to close and teachers had to switch to online teaching. For many teachers, the switch was stressful and overwhelming. With the new academic year coming soon, many schools are anticipating the return to full or partial distance learning.

This presentation will provide some tips on how you can create an effective online course that will encourage engagement, collaboration, and critical thinking, with the focus on Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners. In addition, tips to help educators make the courses manageable will be shared.
